## Climbing

I've got into sport climbing during the the summer. That's the indoor kind, with the rope and harness. I started at grade 5a, and worked up to a 6b max grade. My goal was to top a 6c during 2026. But then...

I fell on my arm while bouldering and broke my elbow. It's going to take a couple of months to heal, and probably longer to get back to climbing condition. Safe to say that the 6c dream can wait!

I think I'll let others do the bouldering in the future. I'll stick to dangling on the rope.

- Ball x Pit. Probably not going to continue; incremental roguelites don't really do it for me anymore.

### SOAD tour

I saw System of a Down in Stockholm with my wife. We travelled there a couple of days before to do some sightseeing. Our actual vacation days were tied up in wedding prep, so this was a nice mini-holiday.

The gig was at Strawberry Arena. The place was packed!

The opening acts Acid Bath and Queens of the Stone Age were okay, not really a fan of either.

The main act, however, was insane. The whole arena was singing along to pretty much every tune. Happy to have seen them live!

## New laptop

I got a new 16" MacBook Pro with the M5 Pro chip and 64 gigs of RAM. It's been sweet. Really overkill for most of the stuff I do on it, but considering how heavy all desktop software is nowadays, it's good to have some headroom. I can experiment with local LLMs too.
